It's almost ridiculous how easy this is and it's completely legal. All the money I've made is from settlements so far. I will be suing some that didn't want to settle because I know I'm right. More money for me!

Very interesting, in light of playing devils advocate, did you ever go to court with any of the companies?
I ask because from a defense counsel's perspective, bleeding tactics can be disastrous towards pro pers in court.
Also, I may have glanced over it, but these telemarketing companies are all in the US right? Did you serve them via mail or personal service? Just curious as I'm not sure about process service and how it relates to small claims like this.

Regardless it still exist today, my friends wife is a lawyer who still does that every time she get a spam SMS (we barely get calls in our country)
Remember she said she get around 200$ for each sent.

How does she find out who sent it though? Wouldn't it be easy to just use either a throwaway number or some 3rd party SMS app to send that crap out? Most of mine come with links, does she follow them and find out how to sue them that way?
Lastly does she ever have to state anything in the text like 'stop texting me' or does that not even matter.
Ive quite literally receieved hundreds of these texts since I got this shitty recycled number and I'd love to get a nice paycheck lol

I don't know but for some reason we don't get those here (just spammy anonymous sms with links)
She get only spam from big companies, that yes to your second question, she reply with the unsubscribe text, and threat them with every message that came afterwards.

Don't hate the playa hate the game good stuff keep doing what you doing, 90%of this telemarketing are scammers&liers they will do anything to take your money. I think it's a blessing, fight the system from inside, beat them with their own laws.

Btw in Israel you can sue companys who using your email(without your approval to send you "news") ,for each spam email you can get around 300-400$ (for each spam mail they send you) I guess its not just in Israel check it out, yo

I know this is old, but for anyone that’s interested in this method, it still works. Most companies that text me are already identified because I signed up for texts and they broke TCPA in some way. For example, if I texted “stop” and they continue to text, every text after I said stop is a potential $1500 violation. This doesn’t work for scams or spam texts. It has to actually be a company trying to market a product/service. If the company isn’t easily identifiable by the text itself, whatever link the text includes should give up the company in some way. May have to even dig into the TOS or privacy policy to find out who exactly
My 15 month total is just over $60,000. I still have some pending cases, so my total should be going up soon
I only filed small claims against a few businesses. They settled before the court date so I haven’t had to go to court yet fortunately

I know that this is a few months after your original post, but what is a good method for getting them to violate TCPA laws? I am currently in litigation with one company and plan on using a lawyer with another company which texted me 6 times in a row. If I text them to stop texting, then they send one more text telling you they will stop, would they be in violation for that one text after I told them to stop texting?

If you get an immediate text saying that they’ll no longer text you, that text isn’t a violation. The FCC (who basically implement all the rules regarding TCPA), say that those texts are exempt. Obviously any marketing/promotional texts you get after telling them to stop would be a violation. I find that these kinds of cases are the easiest as they are cut and dry violations. My biggest settlement so far ($10,000) came from a case like this.
