This is one aspect of PBN building that I don't seem to understand.

So you purchase the expired domain, recreate the site and connect it with to GSC, then wait and pray that Google reindex's the site + backlinks start showing up right?

So for PBN's with dozens of different domains, do people use separate Google Accounts for every single one?

Websites can be indexed even without adding them on search console if its that what you are asking

why in the name of the SEO you will want to add your pbn network in webmaster tools?

it is called Private Blog Network for a reason!
Hey Sherlock, you adding it or not adding it, does not make a difference on Google's insight of your pbn

OP Yes, use dif gmail accounts for each pbn. Your Pbn should be treated just like your moneysite. Adding it to search console will give you a lot of good information, specially on what your pbn is getting ranked for. Working on this will get you organic traffic and hopefully referalls from your pbn to your moneysite

Is it that we should use another email provider as opposed to Google? Less footprints...

ok sherlock \m/

Buy Gmail accounts in bulk, use VPN, and get each pbn on a separate GSC.
I totally forgot about VPN's fml. Wouldn't each VPN have to be tied with the associated account PLUS be a private IP vpn?

In BHW, those who run threads on "ask me anything about PBN's" successfuly, often point to this: use different emails than gmail for google webmaster tools. I never gave this much of a thought. Each of my PBN's has a unique gmail account, because of my creating google plus accounts and yahoo. now that google plus is gone, not sure if it matters anymore. about 70% of my pbns have unique gmail accounts and the other 30% is different yahoo accounts. again, from my own experience i have not seen negative effect from using gmail. then again, i am not a professional PBN provider. it is just for my own use. if those experts are saying this, then safe assumption is to follow their advice.

interested to see what @tiiberius says on this, since he manages a PBN network for commercial purposes.

^^ This.

^^ Absolutely not this.

You are NEVER supposed to add your PBN domains to GSC. That's pure suicide. If you really think Google can't connect your super proxy/VPN protected GSC accounts, then you will soon get a reality check. One of the biggest footprints you can actually pull off and for absolutely no benefit.

Risk 100 : Reward 1

It's amazing how comfortable people grow over time with cutting corners. One or two mass deindexations of PBNs like in the old days and some of you will be running around the forum like headless chicken, trying to figure out, why your PBN went to shit, when you "absolutely don't have any footprints".

Why even use GSC for PBNs? Lol, I don't even use it for money sites. "Hey Google, here is a site I will SEO to oblivion"

Yes, separate accounts for each PBN is you really have to use GSC.

Yup
I made two different tests with my adult base private network and GSC, and both got killed after some while, and the money sites too.

Now to using anymore nothing related to google, nor gmail, nor GA and nor GSC and I'm perfectly safe!

you really think that google knows less of your PBNs structure if you don't add it to GSC (using all unique email accounts)?! I think this is the first time that I am disagreeing with you.

how can an email from yahoo that is only used once for one GSC account and another one from MSN, that is only used for another GSC account, be tied together?!

In the world, where you say "Rolex" out loud in the proximity of your phone and next day you are flooded with Rolex ads everywhere, you really think that it can't be done? :)

Don't be naive my friend.

i get your point. but do you agree that regardless of you adding your PBN to GSC or not, google still knows the same thing about your pbn.

I do agree, that adding a site into GSC BY ITSELF, doesn't give Google more info than it has.

Still, adding PBNs to GSC is risk 100, reward 0.

Ok you guys have convinced me and it makes a lot of sense NOT to add your PBN to GSC.

My line of thinking was using GSC to figure out whether or not google gives my recreated website juice or not. I suppose using ahrefs could potentially give me those same metrics, such as seeing whether or not keywords reappear in the SERP100.
