It normally depends on what people searching for.... if users prefer shops on particular terms, google will always prioritize shops... same with other stuff... So how was it before the update?

Same with me dude... Google is ranking shops on higher positions and contents on the lower positions.

I guess it's all about authority IMO. We need to focus more on Authority now :/

Has anyone had problems indexing new links? Since the update I can not get anything indexed. I have new links created on 10 different domains and can not get any lndexed. Before the update these domains would get indexed within a couple of days.

Anyone noticed that to actually search for something specific, google no longer returns the right results. I'm saying that now generally, there search engine is less helpfull in returning the right results.

It may return the right results for perhaps 3 or 4 results, but then it goes way off the subject even before you get to page 2.

If you're searching for something technical I actually have to use another search engine now.

Google, you are screwing your own own search engine up. When you first started you returned good results, now you are worse than when you first started.

Google's search results have gotten progressively worse over the last few years, it has become more noticeable over the last couple of updates. I guess they figure if a user can't find what they are looking for they'll just click on an ad. I personally don't use them for search anymore with the exception of checking my rankings.

On 9th noticed spike in crawled pages, after that started going up (after 35% down from May update), but very slowly. Last spike was 3 days before the update, and then started to go down, and continued until now. Even so, started moving in the right direction might be sign of rollback or smaller algo update.

Also, dance still happening, keywords all over the place., everytime I check, but not so much as before.

Ahrefs data same as for you guys - worthless.

Surprisingly, a newer site with virtually very little backlinks have gained about 30% increase in traffic.
