So when you reach 1000 subs and 4000 view hours and apply for monetisation. How long does the review process take and what are the chances of not getting accepted?

From what I have read here, it takes 3days to 14days. Chances of getting accepted or not depends on the videos you make not having copyright issues. Also videos should not have violence or sexual content

So if you have some videos that are copyrighted it is bad for the monetisation review? I thought that copyrighted videos are automatically demonetised so it shouldn't matter, am I wrong?

Currently on day 6 with a new account but with this covid situation id guess over a month.

it shoudl be good within 15 days, but sometimes it can take way longer!

[16:53 UTC 20 March 2020] Expect Delays - YPP application reviews: As we’ve already shared, we’re taking the steps needed to prioritize the health of our extended workforce, including reducing in-office staffing in certain sites, to reduce the spread of COVID-19. As a result, it will likely take longer than one month to hear back about your application to YPP. You can continue to check your application status here.

Got a email this morning saying I've been accepted, took 7 days even in lockdown.

The whole monetization process might take 3 months min and 6 months max. If you are good at making videos and have continuously increasing subscribers then this can speed up the process but still you will have to wait a month at least.

It took about 2-3 weeks for me. The monetization process is longer now because of COVID.

Nice, congrats. Is your content entirely your own?
Yes it's a personal channel. I recorded 2 different 2 hour gaming sessions and split 4000 watch hour between the two of them. I already had a bunch of other videos and had deleted a few videos that had monetization disabled on them for copyright songs.
