it's simple he manage to do it under the "fair use" - see on ALL his videos he added a fair use declaimer

his channel is protected under the 'fair use' he can use those materials, but note that if you try to do the same, YouTube will block you instantly...
i guess he used lawyers that sent appeals and established that he is protected. good for him.

probably MCN then. coz with MCN u can upload such content, im not so far aware yet of other method besides heavy editing and spinning of the video.
