Has anyone encountered this situation, google is preventing me from logging in! ! !

I've had that a few times. Couple of times I left it a week or two and logged in on a different browser with issue. The other times I was using chrome and it simply would not send me the text. I switched to safari and it worked fine

Try another browser. Wait a week or so and try again in another browser.

It is bloody irritating.

whenever my test channels got banned this was the second last step before that, the "weve detetced suspicious activity and verify etc"

Simply do what it says, add a phone number and receive the text. It’ll be fine right after.

Doesn’t matter where you’re from btw, any phone number will work.

What kind of phone numbers though? Real ones such as your own mobile number or something you found online (for free)?

I have tried my own phone and some platforms for receiving SMS codes.

The number of these platforms can be registered for google acount, so they are absolutely valid

Hmmm. Try it from different devices, browsers or waiting a few days, a week may solve it as fasttrak suggested above.

Were you able to solve the problem? I'm in the same boat

Either you never provided a number when creating that account for verification OR you did provide a number and not providing google that correct number.

If you have access to the gmail attached to that account login back in with the last device you successfully logged in with, there should be an email from google stating suspicious login activity and asking to verify it it was you or wasnt you. Click it was me and you should be able to login in from any device again.
