I've never invest in Bitcoin

How does one go bankrupt from buying crypto?

You'd have to buy high and sell low numerous times to do that.

They won't be using BTC as it is decentralized, they'll create their own.

And what will happen to the value of BTC?
What will it take to see the spike in it's value?

I can't say what it will happen with its value once that happen.

BTC will increase it's price until there are no more available to mine.

That'll be the time it'll have its maximum value in my opinion.

Buying with leverage is one way.

Other way is using bitcoin to invest into a 100% loss scheme like ponzi, and not know the difference, blaming BTC.

"Bitcoin investment" maybe refers to investing in something via BTC.

Also, keeping BTC on exit scamming exchange, sending to wrong wallet, losing private keys, MITM, phishing, etc...

What you said there are scams and investing in something else and using Bitcoin as a form of payment.

That's totally different from "investing in Bitcoin".

If I use USD to invest in something does that mean I invested in USD?

Op didn't say "investing in Bitcoin" , he said Bitcoin investment. That is ambiguous, especially for non-native English speakers.

If that was the case I don't think he would've mentioned Bitcoin in there, as it is irrelevant.

I guess he's the only one that can unravel the truth.

Who knows,

Whatever the case is, I 100% support people who don't want to buy. People shouldn't buy things just because it's trendy. BTC is niche specific commodity which will always be too technical for mainstream.

Agree.

I didn't want it to sound that way if it did, but the only reasonable way one could possibly go bankrupt is if he bought at 20k and sold at 3.8k, that is pretty close to bankrupt if he put a ton of money into it.

Me : never buy bitcoin, its like gambling, its backed by nothing and is related to nothing, its like magic.
Also Me: buys bitcoin at 8k.

:D

Lol honestly i bought 1 just so I wont feel left out in case it goes to 1M :D and i dont need the money anyway AND i think bitcoin will be used kinda like "gold" nowadays when people are uncertain and dont trust the dollar since the feds keep printing ...

So..yeah...

Or make a trade at some pretty good leverage to make it happen (and surprisingly crypto/forex exchanges offer that leverage for trading...).

i will not say dont invest , but be aware , there is a lot networks waiting whne people invest high and stole his money

And you have every reason to be skeptical about Bitcoin. Even though it's been on the market for years, there are still some situations with it. It can easily both rise and fall in price so quickly that only a few can predict it. But that doesn't mean it's impossible to make money with it. However, investing in Bitcoin is more of a short term investment, so be careful with it.

Why does this thread remind me of 2014 when everyone was oblivious to what Bitcoin is? It's 2020, 100% up time since it's inception, Bitcoin isn't going anywhere. Bitcoin isn't stocks, it's something more bigger than it....

But where can someone then invest his or her money then for a good return, actually, you know we are all looking for profits, besides bank deposit don't amount to anything, and you just want to get some good living
The reason why your friend got bankrupt it's because he used money that he can't afford to lose. Money management it's something that everyone should consider when investing in crypto and stocks etc.. or any type of investment.

Investing in your own business can bring a lot long term if u do it right way ( so it's still risk). I really don't see something without a risk but like i said if u don't know how to manage money and how to deal with a market crash just don't invest and specially when the money u invest u are going to need it either to buy food or personal stuff.

You should watch your back OP - diving into crypto investing without a large amount of research and planning will lead to your demise.

It takes a solid number of mistakes, often fairly substantial losses, before things start to click.

The worst mistake a novice trader can make is actually to pull off a high ROI trade as a fluke.. it will lead to you thinking you know what you're doing, even though it was just luck.

That curse will stick with you until you've lost a small fortune realising that it was just a fluke.

Crypto trading is engineered at its core to trick as many people as possible into willingly giving whales huge sums of money they would never normally give over.

Don't let yourself be another ill-prepared trader with no previous experience that buys some whale's girlfriend a new diamond ring.

i have lost 2 private key last 3 years
Now never keep money to wallet
