The difference 1 keyword makes..

Yeah, just noticed! Seems like my prediction came true earlier than I had thought :)

So, what's the next goal? I think it's time to find another golden keyword once you're able to sort out the logistics side of things.

Nah keep polishing and pushing I've only got 322 product I think I want to expand the core product line this year - would be nice to reach around 500 I've currently got 70 in production which will make it online next year.

I'm also expanding the product line but into other avenues ... gifts etc.. companion products to sell (but I think that this will become another brand) I've also had customers request about adding in specific product combinations so will be doing that.

My plan was to invest around 30k into a new product line and launch it on Amazon later this year this whole "virus" situation has been an eye opener on how shifting a few thousand units in a short time would work so it's meant I've had to refocus and plan my attack on that - at least now I can see pitfalls and mistakes before I've made them.

The biggest issue now is looking to scale I've been building gradually on a nice steady curve and now all at once I've just hit this explosive vertical climb so it's dealing with all of that which comes with it, new challenges etc.

I thought id managed to step back away from the business without so much of an emotional tie but the last few weeks have been hard. I've had customers wish my kids get Covid, invite me to funerals because I've killed them, had people tell me I killed their kids, people just cause shit on review sites, people wanting to come get me with a bat LOL (I phoned and invited him to my house, sadly he never turned up)

I got a bit personally defended over it - thought I was thicked skinned so I took some deep breaths and decided to just not let it get to me although one customer I'm 95% sure once this COVID thing is lifted I'm going to go to his house and break his legs but will see plans change etc ;)

So yeah moving forward its looking to put what I've learnt into reality, dealing with the growth. New products etc... dunno next 12 months will be interesting will see what happens.

It's so great to read success stories like this one!
Keep up the awesome work mate and don't let the negativity get to you.

One keyword is all you need sometimes.

This is kinda my experience when I first start doing SEO in my life with my first CPA website.

I'm not much of a waiter and I'm going big or im just alt-tabbing from chrome and playing COD.

What i did was i target the BIGGEST keyword in my niche, in 6 months, my site was gone but after few links here and there the site came #1 from nowhere, and not only for the biggest keyword, it was ranking #1 for more than 30 BIG keywords, 150 Medium keywords and god knows how many smaller. I went from $20 a day to nothing to $300-500 a day! Consider that i was only 16y old, it was fucking HUGE for me.

Hey, man.

Fantastic work. A little patience and a sprinkle of hard work you're reaping the benefits.

Yeah the last week or so I've managed to take a small step back and not let it bug me as much as it did so that's been good! Still getting beat up a bit but does not bother me so much the amount of shit I've taken is in the minority really..

That kind of how I started but as I went for all the the breadcrumbs first and exact match products It meant any traffic I got was high converting when I started out of all my organic traffic my conversion was around 65% which is nuts for an ecommerce site. But as the customer was already searching that precise and the rest of the pages where information based I cleaned up - now it's broad that number has fallen loads.

Given the recent success I miss the quieter days!

I guess you don't have that site no more?

My recent growth is fine the numbers I do for the cost of product is £1 - 5.95 (I've introduced some bundle packs from £8-28) and I manufacture it all so for the price point I do rather well and the margin is there. The larger bundles have done better than I thought so been keen to try and do more like that as I clear more product and it's a larger sale.

Thanks! The new google update has just hit my niche (well looking at the semrush sensor it's everyone) work I put in to get to where I am seems to have paid off as at the moment I look unaffected! :)

Thanks!

I'm trying to do anything and everything to not become the ass hole my "dad" was / is.

The hardest thing I have to deal with in business is there was a time in my life I used to solve problems with my fists or a hammer so I find it hard to take a breath and not just rage on someone, I speak with someone once a month about my anger issues which helps but sometimes only a mountain and a van can solve you problems ;)

Ah sorry to hear that!

I've not seen my family since I got kicked out of the house at 14 my life has been "interesting" since then. I got into trouble more than once and done a lot of things I'm not proud of but not ashamed either I was forced to start speaking to someone - I resisted but it helped and does help. I tried group talk but all I wanted to do was kill everyone there so that's not for me ha! I used to fly off the rails for nothing and then go back to normal as quickly as I got anger, you soon learn or at least I did I wanted to keep that going as for me it was a drug.

My "rage" is still there I don't think it will ever go away I feel I've gotten better at controlling it I might have a 10s fuse now rather than a 0.01s one which is better than nothing. It's stupid to say but I used to and do treat it like a super power if i rage with all the anger and adrenaline pumping through me id go through everything and everyone without feeling it throw in 25 years of kyokuishin into the mix and things where not good - I even stopped drinking for 13 years as I associated drinking with fighting and saw that as a trigger - I NOW have a few beers but only at home I feel I got a better grasp on it.

The most important thing I can say to you is figure out your stress points and learn what triggers you and try and put a stop before hit happens way easier said than done!!!! Inbox is always open if you need to chat/vent. ONE thing I would say about everything since leaving home it has driven in a sense of fuck you all and ill show you attitude that I can't seem to shift but I wouldn't say it's a bad thing either!
