So I looked at the cached version of my webpage and saw that my top menu is being displayed duplicated while on the regular version I can only see it once.
Is this important?

It's not a problem, but it's better for the link juice to be fully responsive without duplicating the links.

hmmm any clue why it may appear like that? I'm using elementor

Because you have 2 different menus - one for desktop and one for mobile, as I said, you should combine them in one and make it responsive.
Ooooh yes understand.
I'm using generate press and the problem might be that I activated the navigational menu or something like that.
Thank you!

Is it important to the search engines? I dunno and I am not the right person.
Does it look horrible to me? Yupp it does look horrible, and if I saw that cached link; I would think something is wrong with the site. It does help if your default styling is good (i.e., you have fallback for unsupported browser), in my opinion (I work as a UX developer in a company, so I guess I am qualified to have my opinion on this lol).

Or it could be static menu and a scrolling menu that stays at the top once you start scrolling. Like this: https://slide.software/
