Hi guys,

I got the following situation: I bought backlinks for an inner page and in November 2019 I was ranking on Page 1, Position 3 for 3 of the main keywords for that URL.

Since late February this URL got removed from SERPs and instead another URL of my site is ranking (on page 2/3) that actually should rank for another keyword.

I already contacted 6-7 SEOler who could not help me to fix this. What I tried in order to solve the issue (based on their suggestions) was:
- adding more relevant text to the URL
- some changes to the interlinking
- bought more backlinks for that url

There is no manual action shown in GSC.

If you help me to solve this issue I will pay you 100 bucks. Send me a DM to get the details.

Please keep in mind that I probably cannot comment on this thread with my current account status. So I can only answer follow up questions via pm.

To put things in place
1. If you put in G "site:yourdomain.com" does your home page appear in the SERP at all?
2. Check GSC for CTR from your home to the keyword you were ranking. Maybe you are facing a sandbox movement. Which is your CTR % ?
3. Also check the CTR variance in the past 3 months.
4. And check the SERP snippet you are showing.

1. Yes, the URL in question (inner page) appears in the SERP.
2. Sorry I dont understand what you want mean. Could you try to clarify?
3. The last 3 months the overall CTR from the whole website was 1.1%. The previous 3 month it was 1.6%.
4. Meta Description (if you meant hat with SERP snippet) is the same as the one that was ranking on page 1.

Maybe this is worth to mention: In Google UK the correct URL is still ranking. Just slightly less, namely Page 1, Position 5-7 for the 3 keywords.

I remember that the hosting provider migrated me to a different (faster) server beginning of march. Could this have an influence on the rankings? The country of the server is still the same.

Moved to HAF as you're offering payment, but keeping mind only upgraded members can offer services, thanks.

This is significant, a 50% drop.

You might be facing a sandbox movement. Also check your link profile, maybe you have been attacked and you should be disavowing bad URL.
Also think what have you linkbuilt in the last weeks. Most of the sudden drops I've had in the past are because of wrong links.
