Which is more popular exchange - Binance or coinbase ?

Binance is bigger in size and support of coins. I only have Coinbase account because when I mined BTC few years ago there were not that many options and getting account at some other US based exchanges was very hard. In US I like Gemini over Coinbase.

Binance is the most popular right now. They also offer very good support imo
But on coinbase you could get free crypto. I think it was something like 130$. Site was called earn.coinbase i think

There is waiting list to get that free crypto in my opinion.

Coinbase started me off over a year ago as they gave free crypto by watching videos

Bina what? Never heard about it,

I've been with Coinbase for a few yrs

According to India, China, Russia, Japan, Australia it will be Binance and according to USA, Canada, Mexico, etc., It will be coinbase

if you want to trade daily, than go with binance it have more feature like futures market, and more alt coin
if you just want to purchase than hold long use coinbase.
4 Popularity depend on the country. both site won't scam you

binance is better

Binance is better than Coinbase

Binance. No question about that. It is much larger and more popular on an international scale. I use both of them and prefer Binance for some types of transactions and Conbase for othes. As mentioned here Coinbase has a learn and earn program that everyone should use.

Coinbase is more popular. I dont think you can buy usd -> BTC on binance. But if youre trading frequently, use binance.

Coinbase has established itself as one of the most important exchanges in the market.

At the end of the day, does it matter which one is more popular? Both secure and both reliable.

I believe binance has more alt-coins to play with, and a couple more options like futures market, p2p exchange, technical indicators, etc.
Binance seems more complete as a whole package, but that's because they aim for intraday traders and swing traders.
If you want to buy some coins and keep if for a while, it doesn't matter which one you use.
