So, i was doing a basic research and found out that its tied to your sim card.

so have anyone been able to verify accounts with SMS verification from other countries?

will this not work and you will have to log in each time from the number you used to register?

will you be able to at least use the desktop version only with that account? (the desktop version is very limited, but maybe an android emulator can work?)

I know that you need a phone without a SIM card.
With Wifi and VPN it will do the work, no need to verify with phone num just register with an email.

android emulator equals a shadowban on tiktok.

I don't want to open a new thread for this and since its on the same topic, i would be glad if you can answer:

So an account i already have opened, is now region locked to where it was opened, and there is no way to change that right?

I am getting nice traction but i am afraid that it won't be scalabale since my country is very small.

changing the location isn't impossible but its not worth the effort i would keep that account as it is and create another one for the new targeting if i was in your position.
Greetings.

  7. Tap Done.

Not what they meant. They want their content to be shown in x country, vs where they actually are.

I live in Thailand, but currently back in Europe because of Covid. I started a TikTok account a week ago, but since 95% of the traffic was coming from my current location, I used my Thai SIM card, which automatically started showing my videos there. I’m at 29k followers now.

Thanks for confirming this.

I wonder if there is a way to bypass this tho. quite sure its not something one will share, since TikTok is still current news.

the rules regarding the use of sim cards are now quite strict and their sales and usage are also limited
