Hello, though I have seen lots of post about this but mostly am confused here. I need steps on how to rank my web design agency to in #1 my state. Replies will be appreciated.

If I would start any sort of digital agency (marketing, creative, web dev, etc.) first think what I would do is to create some creative content on social media (IG, FB groups, etc. where your targeted audience would be) such as:

• Short informational videos (i.e. Top 5 biggest issues local businesses are doing with their website) max 4-5 mins. Share these videos on social media
• Blog content in your agency site, that would be useful and informative, but leaving that "x" where your customers needs to pay for your service
• Post on FB Groups related to your niche with some informational content (i.e. to local restaurants, etc.) where your audience would be be

These steps really works for almost any business (I personally doing it with my consulting services and my course), but it's just a matter of hustle and creating some content. Don't overthink, just try to create first video, share it, see how it goes.

BTW, I'm not really an SEO guy, so my advise just comes directly by working on social media, etc.

I have created about 20 videos, I think what's left now is to start sharing

If not you need to do that.
With social media as suggested above insta, fb are great for marketing, web design and marketing business.

And check if your listing is in top 3 ranking on google.

Just do SEO for gmb listings. Many threads here, you can learn from them.
