Google Ad > Landing Page 1 > Landing Page 2 > Offer Page.

Does google go 3 levels down during a manual review to make sure your entire funnel is compliant?

My offer may be questionable... so I’m hoping google will stop reviewing after Landing Page 2 in my funnel. What are your thoughts?

Not sure how about long term, but working with threshold accs I get impression google only checks LP1, and rarely by a real human anyway

Thank you -- anyone else want to share input?

Google ad bot crawls your site. Anyone can pass manual review and then redirect or change their LP. What catches people is the crawler and all cloakers do is redirect Google's ad bot crawlers.

You can try to deny their crawler via Robots.txt or htacess file; not sure if that will work, but if you're doing search ads that's not going to help your quality score any. You might even get hit with the good ol' "Circumventing Systems" ban.

@dennisyu how does the crawler know if you changed your LP? Do they keep a copy of the original LP? If so, does the crawler look at the second and third landing pages?

Their ad bot will continuously crawl your site. That is how they make sure advertisers comply with their policies and that is how they will determine your LP QS for search ads. I don't know if they keep a copy of your LP, but they do something to monitor any changes.

How far they crawl and how many links a manual reviewer clicks on, i'm not sure. I'd like to think they wouldn't go three pages deep.

I mean you are obviously allowed to edit the content of your landing pages after approval, but they will catch any BH bait-and-switch eventually.

It would suffice to download the page and hash it MD5 for example. If when you pass the hash is not the same> new verification

Ive heard doing that is pretty safe.

It goes all the way down, but that's not a big problem in most situations
