I am observing that ripple is in red even when coins like bitcoin and ethereum are moving up. Has ripple lost its charm ?

U can average in it.

What i mean by averaging in it is invest in small portions so if it go down you will not be in loss
If price goes down, there is always a loss. Though it might be small amount.

it is not a finall loss as long you don't sell it.

and i don't think Ripple loss it charm, when it got hit at march as other crypto fall, and bounce back. ripple also bounceback.

Ripple is a pre-mined coin.
The biggest chunk of Ripple coins is still owned by the creators (one died), and their "foundation".
They got caught selling big batches of Ripple in the last 12 months, and that causes mistrust.

There was a lot of interest from banks in Ripple tech, but that is fading away.
More and better tech is popping up.
So who knows what the future will bring for them.

If you know what you're doing, there's always money to be made.

ripple is only crypto promoted by mainstream bsnks, i will stay away from it in any case. its against the concept of decentralised currency.

Come on now thats just silly!

As for ripple, Im not one to tell other people what to do with their money but ripple has no place in crypto.

But...It is centralized and closed and the founders hold a large amount of the tokens. But they dont burn them openly like your usual chains do. No they dump them on the market periodically. Something they said at the start wouldnt happen. All that balanced against the tiny chance of perfectly timing some artificial pump means a big fat no from me

i bought a few hundreds at $2.45 / ripple and still waiting for time to sell it in profit. :(

Pro tip:

if you buy Ripple now, for the same amount that you did when they were at $2.45,
you will lower your break-even point from $2.45 to $0.37.
I think that could be worth a try :)
