I have about 10 Twitter accounts that I do not want to lose no matter what! So I want to use a more permanent solution for a phone number. What is the best/cheapest way to have a longer term solution for a phone number that can be used to reverify / unlock the account over time? Thank you for your help!

Maybe you can look into Hushed App. They also gives 3 days trial number so you can check if its working with twitter or not.

Why don't you request free SIM cards from your mobile network operator?
They usually offer, but it depends on the country.

We're launching a new service shortly that may suit your needs. Something along the lines of permanent non-VoIP US numbers. PM me if you're interested and I'll add you to our mailing list when we launch.

The safest way is to buy sim cards. I have about 7 of them that i use + a few google voice numbers + a few family members, and its the best way.

But for example the cards have an expiration date if credit is not added. So every couple of months i add $2 (minimum allowed) per card in order to renew the expiration date. I feel like a drug dealer on the kiosk adding credit on 7 sim cards xD

And of course the google voice numbers expire dur to inactivity also. But i get an email i believe 30 days before expiration for eacch number, so i just go in and text the numbers between them, so it refreshes the expiration date.

Its good to have a few sim cards for online work. You know you wont lose the numbers. You know no one else is using them for sure. Its a good thing.

Hit up @biffer123 and see if he is still selling those amazing UK sims cards and can ship them to you

Any store. Any store or kiosk sells prepaid SIM cards around here.

Hey, did you try eSIM solutions for that? Prepaid (payg) eSIMs, active period is 1 year after top-up. It is ok to switch between multiple esims on the phone to receive/send sms, calls and use data if you need. PM me if you're interested. Thanks

Don't use verification services. They won't work in the long term, because Twitter recently implemented phone call verification to already verified accounts.

Physical SIMs or... I don't even know anymore haha
