Uk business & SEO Costs

Hi All,

just wanted to get some personal feedback on business users on using official methods such as google ads / microsoft ads and facebook ads?

I started my business and was using SEO methods as i learnt along the way with no prior knowledge ( self taught guides etc..)

Learnt quite a bit and started to understand how to create info that slowly ranked on google and a few of my keywords are top 5s. Started using google ads and facebook ads to try to boost traffic and they were literally a money pit with little results.

after spending a few £100’s and getting very little back came across this forum.

has anyone else learned the hard way or had good results from official ads? If so any tips? I’ve tried audience targeting etc.

Your question is too broad. Just as an example Fb ads are different to google search ads, which are different to fb lead ads, which are different to google display ads etc.

As such how you drive traffic from the ads to your landing page differs.

I’m trying to promote my site for traffic purposes on google ads.
But then mostly on fb I'm using that to generate product sales.

selling mobile accessories so know its a saturated market.
aiming national only
Facebook ads - product pics linking direct to product pages
Targeting people in uk with devices in my niche m/f with different age groups per ad.
