Ahrefs Hacks - 4 Part Guide

Great advice and Pinterest is a great referral for product based companies. For most of my niches it's not as helpful.

I also have a few niches where it does not work, but for those that it does work with, it is a beautiful thing!

I started implementing this method yesterday and have around 4-5 pins in each board. I created 2 boards as of now.

But I have a few questions :

1) Should I pin other pins on my board ?
2) How many pins to you post in a day ?
3) Would you recommend adding affiliate links instead of adding URL of my money page ?

Sorry, I missed this earlier. Answers below.

1) Yes, it looks natural. However, I also have accounts where I only pin my pins, and they are doing just fine.
2) That is up to you. It is better to be consistent, but I try to schedule 1 - 3 pins per day, if possible.
3) No, I always send users to my money page. Conversion rates for affiliate links on pins is VERY low and the pins are rarely ever shared.

Followed the steps and implemented on a fresh Pinterest account. And I must admit this stuff work ! Refer the screenshot with this post and this result is just from creating 5 Boards and 10-12 Pins ! Ahrefs has a LOT of hidden gems which can help you make a decent amount of money. Most IM'ers focus on competitor analysis and KW research, but they miss some of the best hacks that Ahrefs has to offer.

Part 1 - Pinterest Hack

Pinterest is a great, no effort way to generate huge amounts of traffic to your site, without having to build any links or mess around with confusing on-page SEO, worry about KW density, number of words or any of the rest of that crap.

Here’s how I use Ahrefs to find my Pinterest content topics:

1. Search for a broad topic in Content Explorer
2. Add a filter for social shares - Depending on Niche, something like >10000

3. Find an easy target to rip off.

Scan the results for something which fits your niche and has a decent amount of shares. In this example for baseball bat, I chose something which could fit a baseball equipment or general sports niche.

4. Take a look at the pin image and post to get an idea of what works.

Ahrefs used to allow you to drill down to the pin by clicking on the red Pinterest share total on the right hand side, this does not seem to work at present. So, head over to Pinterest and type the name of the Pin we have found. In our example, this would be "12 Groomsmen Gifts We Love".

Tip: 99% of the time, a pin is created from a money page, so it will have the same name on Pinterest, which makes it easy to find

5. Checkout the Pin design to see what is clearly working already.

We can see that this is the same site as on Ahrefs and that they keep it simple and tell their audience straight up that they can find all of these on Etsy (via their Awin affiliate link of course).

6. Replicate.

So all you have to do is create a new page on your site and add the pin with a few KW's. The beauty of this hack is the page you are going to create is really simple and it will take hardly any time at all to put together.

You can see this from the image of the example site below, it is pretty much a picture gallery with Awin affiliate links to the products on Etsy! How quick and easy is that?

Conclusion

A lot of IM'ers don’t know where to begin with Pinterest marketing, but using this simple Ahrefs hack you can start getting traffic and sales today.

Personally, I have had tons of success with Pinterest and this hack just makes it insanely easy to get ideas, content and traffic.

Etsy is a bit like a craft version of Ebay = https://www.etsy.com, they have an affiliate programme which you can sign up to via Awin - https://www.awin.com/

I only ever use the trial version of Ahrefs, but it was there before, perhaps you are looking in the wrong place.

Nice method.

For those that don't have ahrefs you can use other tools like scrapebox social share checker (I think it's still working) or seo quake addon (you can customize it to show only pinterest shares ).

It may take some extra time to filter things, but hey... it's cheaper than ahrefs.

I use Pinterest it just that you have to create pins particularly to your Niche with beautiful images that can attract the audience use canva.com it easy there are alot of images template, if you don't know how to use photo shop but I am going to use my honourable mentor @fasttrak best hack

Definitely worth starting at the beginning, there are lots of answers which will help you in your testing and journey.

I use Pinterest it just that you have to create pins particularly to your Niche with beautiful images that can attract the audience use canva.com it easy there are alot of images template, if you don't know how to use photo shop but I am going to use my honourable mentor @fasttrak best hack

Agree on Canva, it really is easy to use, but I also use Fireworks and Photoshop for stuff that Canva cannot do, or it just takes too long.
