Hey,

Alright, so im trying the blackhat method of making fake online job offers to get them to sign up to a CPA offer. I've posted job postings to at CL and got some interested people.

Before i send them off to the CPA offer for them to sign up to, i just can't figure this part out:

So the lead that i want to use allows email as a form of going directly to the offer. I don't really need to hide my traffic sources do i? as i will give them the direct link to the CPA offer. Hence the traffic source that they see comes from the email. Is this correct?

OR

Should i send them to my domain with a meta refresh directed to the offer? And from this, the CPA companies won't know where my traffic is coming from at all? Correct me if i'm wrong?

Any opinions would be great!...Thanks :)

Ya the meta refresh would work great..
Just have a backup story on why

In the perspective of the CPA companies, what would they see as the traffic source if you did it through meta refresh? Would it be unknown or direct traffic?

Would it still be wrong, if i did it through the email, and just tell them i have a huge email list if they ask?

hehe. when i first started doing various cpa methods i ran into this problem. the thing is, meta redirects dont mask the referrer.. they do sometimes. what would happen to me is i would use a meta redirect and for some reason only part of the traffic was masked. this seems to still be the case on all the networks i have tried. i did however manage to create a redirect that completely strips the referrer header and replaces it with the redirect page. then i began adding all kinds of other features to it so that it tracks data and i can add all my offers to it.. basically it functions as a tracker where each CPA offer link gets its own site ID, hit count, offer worth, name, etc.

That sounds like it would make a nice addition to our Buy, Sell, Trade section ;)

yeah i saw that section and might consider it. i actually have a lot of cpa/ppc stuff i have coded over the last year. what would be cool about selling my tracker is i wouldnt actually have to give away the source to it.. i could sell access instead cause its server side. hmm.

I would just iframe the offers. I always get my website as the referrer.

Siek, if the offer allows email promotions then I see no harm in putting an affiliate link in the email itself. It won't hurt to ask this question to your affiliate manager directly.

Frivvy89,
The problem with iframe is that it is not allowed in most cases and can easily be detected ..
