Hey guys, apart from SEO, what are the alternatives to getting web traffic to my websites?

Social media, Reddit, Quora etc

There are a couple of ways. I've listed four.

1. Social Media : You can either run ads, or grow an organic base on one of these platforms that come back to your website. Ads are cheap and quick but will bring you some irrelevant traffic while growing a subscriber base takes time.

2. Email Marketing : Ensure that you're capturing emails of readers on your website. Nurture them, and stay in touch so they come back to your blog.

3. Guest Posts : Approach other high traffic high authority websites in your niche to write for them in exchange of a link back. Guest posts will bring you traffic and subscribers when done well. They aren't what they used to be but can still be useful. They'll also make you credible amongst your online community which brings me to my next post.

4. Podcasts : Approach popular podcasts who'll link back to your website. If you already are associated with bigger blogs through your guest posts, this will make it easier for you.

There are a bunch of other things you can do but these 4 are probably the quickest. There's always Youtube and so on.

Good luck.

there is an absolute infinite way of gaining traffic, it is why sometimes you might feel overwhelmed but there are some fields that give better traffic according to a certain niche.

-seo
-ads
-social followers
-email marketing
-video platform
-newspaper

When you say organic traffic, it means it is traffic from google, search traffic, the advantage of this traffic is that when you work hard and you rank, it comes naturally without you spending dollars like on ads. The disadvantage is that it is a game of chess, google is unpredictable even if we have some clues on how it works, there is still some unknown factors.

FB, Quora etc..
Just use the search filter to find those threads.

Lol, do you guys even read the question?
Organic traffic is search engine traffic. All recommendations here talk about referral and/or social traffic.

OP: If you are interested in organic traffic, your only way is publishing quality content, and working on your SEO (on-page + links). Of course there are many strategies and opinions on what works or doesn't work in SEO in 2020. Read the threads here in SEO section and try to find something that may work for you.

I have little knowledge about these methods. Thanka

Hi!
Try running sponsored ad campaigns on Facebook, Instagram etc. This helps alot

Hope this helps
Cheers!

hmm you can try manual outreach in SM.
Paids ads FB,instagram
pay Influancer for shot out.

But it depen on your business niche. every method have different impact. example if you area sellign proffesional service like web design, it's better to promote in Linkedin, rather than twitter fb.
Find out where your target demographic, spent most of their time, which forum , Sm, etc.

Optimise for your readers, not search engines. First and foremost, write your buyer personas so you know to whom you're addressing your content.

Write posts that are keyword optimsed for the search engines.
Install a plugin such as Yoast that will help you meet optimisation targets.
Go for 800-1000 word posts.
Have an internal linking strategy.
Submit your sitemap.

Reddit works for me. Post a legit looking post on an account with good history, and buy a few upvotes. Be careful, redditors know if you're faking it haha

Reddit and Gov Profile links with Social Signals
