Question regarding volume of keywords

Hey guys!
So let's say that I want to target a keyword for a recipe, something like: how to make french fries
but that specific keyword has lot of competition, instead I decide to go for: how to make french fries at home which is a little bit of lower competition.

My question is: if in the future (when I have more authority)
I wanted to target just how to make french fries would that be possible changing the blog structure or would I have to create a new blog post?

i'm not sure but i think it's about LSI, do some little research about it.

You are complicating the stuff. Go for the home version and keep building links and you will rank for all main keywords related to French fries, just make sure to draft article, so it cover all possible aspects. Hope you understand what I am trying to say here.

Sorry, what do you mean by ''home version''. Like a broad page for it answering all the related questions? Let's say: how to make french fries, when was it invented, who invented them... etc? Thanks for your answer

If you get such authority to your site, targeted LSIs would've ranked the main keywords btw, so you don't need to target it separately.

When you create a PBN you link to your ''real page'' on just 1 article or you keep links from time to time? Or maybe on just the homepage.
I'm thinking of creating my own PBN and treat it like a normal blog as everybody says keep it natural.

Definitely go the home keyword version first and given time you may rank on the more general keyword. Remember that rnaking is really a combination of authority and relevancy. if you wanted to create a few other fries-related articles and tie them together you gain more relevancy.

Page will probably rank for both inevitably, since they are so closely related.

However, if it won't happen, I wouldn't mess with the existing rankings. Better to create a new page.

You will get the most effect from PBN unit linking to money site only once. Every other link will start giving diminishing returns and you are also running a risk of getting penalized. Simply because you will (probably) loose track of things and mess linking up.
