changing tiktok location

Hey guys hope all of you are safe , i made a tiktok account and have ben somewhat active with my uploads, my problem is i live in a middle eastern country so videos going viral are 100-200k
my biggest hit was 96k views , does anyone know how i can change my location so i get on the foryou page of western countries with immense audiences? thank you for your feedbacks

Surprise surprise not sure if it was earlier but try now going to ‘Me’ (bottom right of the screen AKA your profile-> tap the three dots (...) at the top right -> Manage my account -> well that’s basically it. look at the end there’s a ‘country/region’ option

I quote: “your country/region won’t be shown publicly and may be used to customize your video experience”

I had doubts but I think they cleared it up

in addition the middle eastern traffic isn't that bad after all.

It depends. I've yet to see somebody successfully accomplish the feat and I prefer to take the longterm route. Agreed though!

No doubt growth will be more in local language only as the person will understand the requirements.

I come from a country with less than 300,000 people. Why not use a foreign SIM card and reach 80M+ people. I’m currently using a Thai SIM card and got almost 30k followers, which is 10% of my country’s entire population.
