What do you Pay for your Articles?

Considering hiring some help to produce some more content for my sites, was just wondering what do you pay these days to your writers for a decent well researched content?
Haven't hired anyone for years for this sort of stuff..

For example how much you normally pay per ~2000 word or ~3500 word article?

I’ve seen a lot of quality writers charging $20-$30. I think this is pretty quality for $8.95. I’ve tried many writers on here already.

What do you use the articles for at that price point? Certainly not for website content which has a chance of just getting buried?

I won't go more than $15 any articles which are on lower campaigns.

Yup indeed. You can rank with garbage content, but will it convert? Nope.
I charge out at least that for my writers. My Mrs won't write for anything less than $60 per 1k words.

not only garbage won't convert, the bounce rate/engagement will be worse and eventually= worse rankings as well.
I'm sure there are people who will pay even $100 per 1k words or more,
however for some fresh website content that has not proven itself yet you would be crazy to spend that when you can probably get someone to do it for under $10 per 1k words and the content def won't be 10x worse..

I pay $15 for 1000 words but I do that knowing and expecting to rewrite it. That's my preferred way to do it anyway, and it's still faster and easier on my brain than writing from scratch.

If you don't want to have to rewrite it, look to double that amount.

Good idea! I'm considering doing something similar, outsourcing all the research/ putting it all together at a cheap rate and just editing/adjusting to ''upgrade'' it.
Although paying $15/1k words and having to still rewrite it kinda sucks.

I think you should only do the research, than being a master in your topic will make it much easier to give clear instructions, and to edit the content yourself afterwards.

Maybe you have tons of different subject and they change every day, i can't know that, but i love to be a master of my niche regardless.
