Several noob questions

Hey guys! So, I have a site related to coffee, I wanted to clarify certain things.
My site is just going to be about coffee and everything related to the world.

So currently I'm building coffee recipes and informational content (later I'll move to machines and something more)
I have a page which is bestcoffeeintheworld.com/coffee/ which talk about the hardest keyword

1. Should all my URLs be like this?: bestcoffeeintheworld.com/coffee/benefits-of-coffee
bestcoffeeintheworld.com/coffee/how-to-make-capuccino... etc?
Or should I do bestcoffeeintheworld.com/coffee/INFORMATIONAL CONTENT
bestcoffeeintheworld.com/recipes/RECIPES ?


2. Should I ask google to ''index'' my page in the search console? Or sooner or later it will be automatically done?



3. If I change the URL of a page and don't have any backlinks, should I set up a 301 redirect or it doesn't really matter as that page hasn't ranked high neither has backlinks. Will it be removed or should I ask to be removed?

1. I prefer to keep my slugs at the lowest level. Meaning:

bestcoffeeintheworld.com/benefits-of-coffee
bestcoffeeintheworld.com/INFORMATIONAL CONTENT
bestcoffeeintheworld.com/RECIPES

It looks much better and less spammy. Plus, if you want to use pillar <-> support article strategy, then just interlink articles properly and Google will know what is what.

2. Let it index naturally, don't force feed Google. Without patience, you won't get far anyway.

3. Don't change URLs of your pages once you set them up. Make up your mind immediately and let it be as it is. If you really need to do that, then just change the URL and that's it. If you don't have any traffic nor backlinks, it doesn't matter.

It does make sense, but as I said, no need to have it in the URL The entire idea of "supporting articles" is made by interlinking, not by having the pillar article in URL as domain.com/pillar and rest as domain.com/pillar/shitnobodywantstoread. So having domain.com/pillar and domain.com/shitnobodywantsoread is the most common and viable approach.

I did that because I though that was the way to do it, but I'll stop.
What do you mean that it doesn't work, that it doesn't index your pages anymore? I search for the site: thing and they all appear after several hours.
Twitter only or any social media?

You can use others, but its what I do. Its more natural than using indexing services and they are hit or miss

1) First option imo, short but specific make for best urls. So make them short but not too general (and too short).

2) Unless you are in a hurry no dont ask google console specifically but do put effort on the internal linking, for example a sidebar that links to the most important articles (and i assume you have a link from the article to the main page about coffee)
..And obviously it goes without saying but give it a few high authority links (like social media, and if it makes sense try to find a wikipedia page too. and forums related to coffee, there are plenty for sure!)

3) Its best to do either 301 or rel=canonical instead of a 404 or duplicate content.

@Nargil have you noticed any negative effect when it comes to using the search console to index them right after publishing? I personally haven't but you likely got a bigger sample size of websites and more experience, so I thought it's worth checking in with you

I add money sites to search console, but I never force anything whatsoever. Nor even submit a sitemap really. Then again, after the site is released, I am adding 200+ articles. No time for sitemap!
