You tried to spend as much as you could when you knew your account had a stolen card instead of removing or reporting it. That's says a lot about you.

I knew someone would say that. And yup, it says I know about credit card fraud. Having had my credit card info stolen before I knew they wouldn't be charged for any of it. It's the law in most countries, and where it isn't the credit card companies usually have that policy anyway.

Also everyone keep in mind, this could be illegal if done on purpose. I figured the fraud had been committed already and I FB wouldn't be able to tell or care if I added some cream on top. So be careful, it may depend on your country's laws

For everyone saying there is no victim here, how would you like it if $3000 randomly went out of your account? Right around the time hundreds of thousands of people are in severe financial uncertainty.

Once again, fraudulent charges are always refunded. And if Facebook had known what I did then I would be responsible for settling the debt. A risk I knew I was taking.

But the poor fella who was careless with his credit card never actually got hurt.
