Hello. I have a lot of well-ranked games in Play Store, they are getting 400-2000 installs/day each. The problem is that 99.9% of installs are directly from search. People do not see them by just browsing the store. Games have high retention, people are spending time in them, vitals are good. Maybe someone here has some tips on how to get to "similar" in other listings, "recommended for you" etc. I know google +1 count had an effect on this in the past.

Hi, is your app available at the "Similar" section at all? Because for some apps Google may temporarily or constantly disable that feature and you wont get any traffic from the recommendations
Also you could check at your Google Developer Console if you are getting enough installs from the keywords and optimize your ASO to drive more traffic :)

I already mentioned that 99.9% of my installs come from ASO. I have a very good ranking for keywords I targeted.

Are you ranked in top for all of your major targeted keywords? If not - you could start boosting your keyword rankings, because the traffic size you get from the Top1/2 and top10 difference is HUGE
Is you are already ranked in top - you could start working with the unpopular long tail keywords (these could be even 50 new keywords), which would bring you even more traffic

If your app is fully white hat and you dont have multiple dev accounts and you have the "Similar" recommendations section disabled - you may try to contact Google support about it

Most of the apps are in the top 1-3. I already have long-tailed descriptions, also ranked for a lot of other keywords. Games are whitehat, "similar" is enabled in my listings. Developer console shows that almost all of the traffic comes from search. 3-5 years ago I was able to get a massive amount of installs from those categories like "recommended for you" etc by people just browsing the store. I guess 2k installs/day is not enough to get there, just wondering if there are some tricks like increasing google +1 count in the past.

Maybe u need more installs and reviews to get in the browsing section. Btw do you monetize your app with admob? if yes what type of ads are u using and is the average cpm for tier 1 countries

I monetize with UnityAds mainly. Last days my cpm dropped to 1.4. ~40% of my traffic is from tier 1 countries. Cpm for the US is 2.92 for last week.

What type of games do you have? Are your using reskins? Do you have any tips for BHW users on ASO and long tail descriptions?

Can you answer this question Please ?

I'm writing my own templates with unity. I will not expose any niches, because it will get spammed instantly. I recommend doing the same if you find one, it's the golden rule in this business.

Are you making money with them?

I dont want to know the figures, are android games profitable?

Yes, but it requires a lot of hard work.

Have you optimized tags in store listing? I think it can help..

Some of my apps end up in "recommendations" , but mostly they have 100K installs . The real trick how to get there is app retention + fair daily downloads in your niche .
