Want To Create A Forum

I want to add a forum to my website but Im not really sure how to do it. I know it is kind of a noob question but is there any software or templates that I can get for free that I can use to make a forum.

Get yourself Simple Machines Forum. It's free and it's superb. Great on resources as well and has loads of addons and templates. You shouldn't have a problem getting it running if you can read a read me.

Well mate you can use phpbb, its a free script and is one of the best. (i am also using it for my forum)

You can go to fantastico in your control panel and install wither SMF (http://www.simplemachines.org/) or phpBB (http://www.phpbb.com/) which are free and good (I recommend SMF)

or if you want a more premium forum and you have the money, then you can buy vBulletin (http://www.vbulletin.com/) or IPB (http://www.invisionpower.com/) I recommend vBulletin (that's what BHW uses)
