Guys, for writing an article how do you do your research, what's the process you follow?

Pretty much what @Mr Positive said, but I also use tools like Ahrefs, Semrush, Moz etc to help identify additional content to include that will also rank for those KW's and bring extra traffic to the page. A lot of people just copy each other, so you end up with a lot of crap filler that does nothing for your traffic. A bit of extra effort will bring in quite a bit more traffic and Google will like you for it!

Select your keyword by verifying keyword factors, and check your competitor to get the ideas and also include your own idea about your niche, because google is more friendly for fresh unique content.

Before writing an article, I go through the maximum amount of content available on it and then write my version of it. You have to make it interesting so viewers don't get bored. People usually stretch articles to increase word count but doing that you lose the main point. Write it in a way that you feel like reading it yourself. For your article to be ranked well, search for competitive articles ranked well by google and also go through the "people also ask for" section in google search results.
