your question is legit, but this community is huge, and with big numbers you have a large community of scammers visiting and consuming this forum daily
so, everything less transparent than absolute transparent will result as shady, especially with newbie accounts
even this thread could be your tactic to try prove your 'newbie identity' while behind could be a mature scammer who came back for more
