Am having a problem with my website...

I paid someone to build links for my blog....the DA has been increasing impressively... about 20 now.

The problem is my ahrefs DR is 3.7....i feel like the DR should be increasing along with the DA, but it's not happening that way.

What can i do to increase the DR?...or is it not something i should be bothered about?

DA is something that raises like F but DR is slightly more difficult
Check Majestic's TF. By far the most difficult to raise. Also check Majestic's CF. If you see that CF >>> TF then the linkbuilder is basically building very poor links (which is very common when you go exclusively for manual links)

Both react differently to different types of links. So what raises DA does not necessarily increase DR. Make sense?

The guys at ahrefs had changed the way they handle DR long back.

DR won't just keep increasing if you build links.

Summary: To increase DR, the organic traffic of your website should also rise in a proportionate way.

I don't know much about SEO but from what I have read so far, I think you should concentrate on what you are doing for now, build ur DA and PA and social signals, with time you will start getting organic traffic and your dr will start increasing.
