If you have picked a single product that you cannot up/crossell multiple niche related products to your list you have just repeated the mistake of your failed dropshipping thread and will not particularly benefit from having an email list.

this is what i watched like a month ago to get started. it gets you set up and started. all you gotta do is find the right offer and make twists on the landing page. general idea is good

I agree, unless you can monetize the list then get rid of it, its just an extra hurdle for customers.
But if you can use to promote extra products in future then its a smart move to grow it for a long term income.

nah, i believe you're wrong
i can still cross sell this list. there are a number of products i have in mind that are related to this one. and even if i don't have any related products, the list is still valuable. i can market the same offer on a monthly basis, to pick up even more sales. normally, if i were to own the product, i would naturally collect e-mails due to checkout. as an affiliate i have no way to gain e-mails, even if i sell, that's why i need the opt in page. therefore you are wrong

if someone isn't willing to put in their e-mail, why on earth would they pull out their credit card or enter their paypal to buy

because people have short attention spans, and get bored quickly. You are trying to sell a impulse purchase.
if you don't believe me add an extra 5 pages to your funnel and see how many people reach checkout

maybe you're right. i'll take out the opt in page and see what happens. i don't think i can go from facebook ad -> landind page with clickbank link on it
that might get me banned from facebook i think. so will leave opt in page but it'll just be a button... that directs to next page. trying to do this safely...

yes it probably a good safety buffer to avoid facebook spam filters.
maybe setup a A/B test in click funnels and see how the CTR changes with or without the email submit. If there's not a lot of difference then just collect the emails.

i wanna look for more sales. if this way gives me more sales then i'll do it. if it's similar amount of sales then not worth it i don't think.. would rather get the e-mails

that would be no more collecting leads, just view contents, ICs, and pur
1000 content views -> LLAs and retargeting
no list building, just pure selling this 1 product on impulse. making as much money as i can. it's cool, but for my next clickbank product i want to try promoting a subscription type thing, something with more profit lumped in there. i need to figure out how to attach 1 pixel to a particular clickbank product, so i can promote multiple products at a time.
in fact... yeah, i may think about another product to promote after like a week or two of scaling this one
i could have 3 clickbank products that i'm promoting as impulse buys on facebook. scale them up super high to make intense money. then invest it all into stocks or promote other clickbank products lol. but when would i stop promoting the same products? well, i guess as soon as it stops becoming profitable. but how much profit can an affiliate make with ONE clickbank product? 300k? 500k? 1 million? if i ran these ads for a YEAR straight with no changes at all, will it still even be profitable at that point? these are all questions i will find out in the end

Don't put affiliate links on the landing page, the landing page can be simple lander which then directs you to the sales page which contains your affiliate link
