For example DMCA, if you have a movie site with the embedded movies you can get a copyright sue.
If your website does not have the movies embedded but have the links, that affiliation can constitute a different copyright sue.
Its a question about "linking" - search the legal terms.

You are getting profit from a fraudulent software.
Even if you do not own the software, just getting affiliate earnings from it, that same earnings come from a fraudulent software and thats punished by law, even if you dont own it.
