Hello everyone,
It's my first post therefore let me use this occasion to present myself as it also serves my purpose here. Originally I have nothing to do with marketing. I attend a high level mathematical school in France and just before graduating I turned myself towards quantitativising. For those who don't know what it is it essentially means using math to beat the stock market.
Cutting short I made an excel automated spreadsheet that permits any chump to make at least 20% annual return easy. In the past I sold this IRL for roughly 2K$.

I've noticed in many facebook groups people asking for stock advice and I thought about creating a non-automated version of this sheet and selling updates for a recurrent fee of 100$. But I ran in technical problems. First I tried using stripe to collect payments and mailchimp to deliver my sheet but I got ban of stripe because "your business model present a high risk of dispute". Anyway I tried other paying methods like prepayed cards and paid sms but I got zero sales as people are suspicious of these mean of payments which I must admit I understand.

Now I had to fire my clients as I don't have a way to collects their payments. You could say it's a mess...

Does anyone has an idea about how to collect 'high' recurring payments and deliver this damn sheet in a way that is scalable roughly to a hundred clients?

I don't need bitcoin. What I sell is legit but even if it was a scam there's no link with my question... If someone was searching an answer i'm experimenting with paypal and manually send mails it seems to work for now

Man, hire a person to make a membership site for you and then accept payment via any well known payment processor, let the users to access the data from your website dashboard.

Well, your business model is formed in a way that you should avoid PayPal at all costs. And honestly all centralized payment processors imo.

I'm sorry I made such accusations man, best of luck to you!

No pb.
Do you think i risk beeing ban of paypal? In my eyes it just selling data analysis therefore i must admit i'm puzzuled...

Best advice for him but I don't think he is legit, sounds like he is trying to sell with this thread.

Why would I try to sell to the most septic guys of the web? XD
lmao it's so easy to sell on Facebook you just go to a random 'investor' or 'trader' group, post a shit message like 'I have a list a undervalued company DM if intersted' and you get 50 replies with at least 3 sale.
However I must admit that I wrote the title in a clickbait way as I wanted answers I didn't think it would turn that way...

Well if the method legit. my suggestion is make some website, put out the Marketing, find some investor, than share 50 50 the profit. (this way you can go for long)
If you doesn't have the necessary skill you can make the thread in JV

i don't know it's allowed, but since it's excel sheet maybe yes, you can sold this in BHW marketplace, since it got reviewed you can sell more easily.

The membership website is definitely an interesting idea.

For the review it's easy to get on fb too. When they DM me I ask for a ridiculouly high price (1k per month) they alway say no. Then i ask what price they want. Generally between 30$ and 100$ and I say ok if you leave me good comment on my post.
Note that I have a demo sheet where they can see what's inside but not use it as company names are hidden so they know what they review. Plus the method I use is 'well known' in the investing community so they sometimes know it as well. The value I bring is also in the data, its an euphemism to say the data is hard to get.

This is fucking bs and I’m not afraid of saying it.

I’ve built algorithmic trading bots from scratch and programmed the indicators into them from scratch as well (no libraries, only taking price and volume as params) .. your explanation is nonsense.

a) No-ones getting 20% annual return using a spreadsheet and some “math for beating the stock market”.

b) A medium-to-long-term reliable 20% ROI would be much safer to monetize with a single investor, who by the way would be sucking you off if you could prove the returns, instead of giving “hundreds” of people the mechanism that delivers said ROI in the form of an easily backengineerable spreadsheet of calculations.

Ive helped people find investment for AI-based algorithms that generated 5%+ per month like clockwork, and never in 1,000,000 years would you mass sell something like this in the way you described.

c) You say you’re going to have to get rid of your clients bc you can’t take payments from them, but also that you’re currently using PayPal without any problem. Bit of a red flag.

d) You’re a newbie soft marketing something that “any chump can use to make 20% with” and that you “normally sell for $2K”. Why the f are those points even important to add to your OP if you’re just trying to find payment processors that accept larger recurring payments.. spider sense is tingling hard.

Feel free to PM me the data you’ve got in each column though and the manipulations you’re doing at each step if you insist that this is wrong. If there’s even a 0.1% chance what your saying is legit I’ll apologize here.

Stripe sucks anyway go to someone else. Do people trust paypal? Because despite hearing about them banning certain vendors I've never even had them question my transactions

For the most part I would say you were right if I were to use only price and volume however this is not the case as I would not pretend beating the market with so restricted data. Let me explain why I think I'm in my right mind ;)
a) I must agree 99% fail at this but there are actually many ways to do it. I don't want to reveal mine but if you are willing to change your mind there is a website call quantinvesting they have a nice compilation of studies about net nets which is the most famous method to get such returns. I sadly can't post links yet but its fairly easy to find.
b1) I TOTALLY agree with you but after talking with a lawyer this is illegal in France as it would require being authorized by the AMF (authority of financial markets) and it's roughly two years long and require raising minimum 20 million euros. Believe me France is shit country for investors :weep:
b2)5% every month? so 20% per year is easy for you then XD... not sure what you mean here but seems interesting anyway if you could expand on that I would love. Especially only using price and volume. My method sadly is not 'clockwork' as I get very varying returns.
c)Please read with attention, (especially times indications)
d) Well I'd argue that I'm a shit programmer, my subject is mathematics so you're right on that too, as mathematics are nowadays very close with informatics I can code just enough to get to my means. When it comes to why I told about my product I just wanted to be a nice guy and tell the bhw community more about me than the strict minimum.
e?) As I said many ways of doing it. If you are willing to try the simple strategy of 'net net' I mentioned for example you will need to look into the balance sheets of companies. You can find it fairly easily on yahoo there is a unofficial api for that(it's crappy in my opinion), i've seen many ppl scrap investing.com as well but if you are into scrapping sec.gov is more reliable. I personally use a paid solution.

There's a saying I like:
The stock market is where traders steals idiots, institutions steal traders, insiders seals institutions.

I would argue your accusation comes from the fact we have two different perspective over the market. From what I've read from you you're more in the 'trading' sphere while I would consider myself in 'the data analyst' sphere. And, not to be rude, I care far about your apologies than an constructive idea (or even you talking about your 5%per month) ;)

Stripe sucks anyway go to someone else. Do people trust paypal? Because despite hearing about them banning certain vendors I've never even had them question my transactions
I've had no one question paypal for now... And no ban for now neither... Well I have only used it for one day so it's easy to say for now

Oh I forgot to mention if anyone read this post and tries any kind of fundamental analysis with free data beware once you leave the S&P territory most (not to say all) free data source are crappy so always check manually before buying if you use them. I don't think this message will be useful but better safe than sorry

I see. Good luck with it, hope it keeps working!

I’ll give you the benefit of doubt and take a look at whatever “net net” is before commenting more, but got to be honest I’ve never heard of it and am pretty dubious straight off the bat.. anyway will take a look just Incase it’s something important to know about.

ML x mean reversion based, and those weren’t my algos, I facilitated finding investment.

why don't you open a hedge fund ? many investor will go for 20% if that even legit

This is so funny. You’re simply scamming buddy. Anyone could have made profit last few years but I can assure you that you’re selling dog shit. No wonder stripe didn’t allow you to sell. Hopefully you get banned on other platforms too.
