TikTok Views Dropped

Hi everyone,

i've grew my account to 40k followers in the last two months with original content. I usually do a combination of dance and fashion videos, and stick to what works. However in the last few views my videos get very low views. Usually i will get at least 1000 views in an hour and videos reach between 100k-400k views. Now i get 300 in an hour, in the next it Maybe goes up to the 1000 and then just stays at around 3000 the next days until i put them on private.

It is super frustrating and I don't know why this is happening. I reinstalled the app and everything so I dont know what to do. Is there anything you might know, what I can try to do?

The only thing that may be a flag for TikTok is that i have a us sim card but am located in Germany on a german Wifi. Could that be? "Discover" etc. is still showing the US, and my videos are shown there as well. I would prefer to still keep it that way.

It sounds like it is just normal algorithm variation. Keep working hard and don't freak out and do something stupid to hurt your account.

sadly tik tok algorythm lately changed hugely
it detects better stolen/same content and because og coronavirus big growth of users need to calm with promoting videos (its harder to get viral)

The reason this happens is because TikTok has an algorithm to block people from uploading videos they don't own. This is where people just download other viral videos and upload them on their own profile to try to build their following. The problem with this algorithm is it's so broad.

But I’m only posting original content and still have the problem. It’s super frustrating. I hope this changes soon.
