KDP Journey as a Non-Writer

following , I am working on Kdp too and I have sold books but not enough

i've never tried ebooks but i think the rules are not the same for paperback minimum is 24 and the paperpack is taking time in revoew process cus there are a lot of spammers who upload using automation software like merch titans so they're just playing the number game which is not worth ot for their time but they impact us too cus they flood the platforme ,

info: your book need around 7 days i guess to be ranked and findable using keyword thats why its good to get them on live way before plus the review delay is making things slower so its better prepar thing month or more before

Yeah, the rules are not the same for ebooks and paperbacks. Ebooks can be 1 page and that's it but paperback has to be 24 minimum.

I definitely understand them taking longer because of spammers and it does actually benefit us anyways because it takes a full week sometimes 10 days or so to become findable in the search engines so regardless if the review process too a week or shorter we should all be getting our stuff in as soon as possible for sure.

I don't use software to create bulk, I create about 35 - 65 books to upload at one time. I do use tangent templates to help upload but it only fills out the first page on kdp, you have to fill out the remaining pages.

I've stopped updating the thread since there wasn't much interest in following my journey.

I passed $1k/mo in February, got a few good sellers during valentine's day.
Sales are now about 25% down due to the pandemic situation, since Amazon is giving priority to essential items.
