Hey guys! I'm a newbie in SEO and wanted to know if it's worth it to buy a 10 D.A score domain that is not 100% descripting my sites' topic (it's a general domain like ''iplaysports'') or just stick to the one I just bought which has that keywords topic.

Example: D.A (10) hairandstylemen.com
My domain: skinfadecutformen.com

I don't know if I'm making myself very clear.
I used those examples because the real domains are in spanish.

DA does not amount to much, lot of live backlinks from multiple sites is a better indicator of a useful domain.

DA is also one of the factor but before you see live quality back-links from relevant to your niche.

It's better if you buy a new domain that reveal your brand rather than 10 DA domain that you don't know what the previous owner had done to it.

The more niche-targeted the domain, the better. Still, you need to make sure it has no spam backlinks

- DA is a joke metric, that doesn't really show how strong the domain is.
- Regardless of the statement before, 10 DA is really low.
- Niche relevancy is important when it comes to building money sites on expired domains.
- Keyword in domain is not a necessity, oftentimes it leads to overoptimization. That might however be different with Spanish google that you will be targeting.
- If you want to use expired domains, learn how to evaluate and check their history properly, otherwise you will be trying to rank a domain, that will never get indexed or will never rank.

Well... It has some backlinks from some news sites (neither of them spammy ones) in total it has like 50 backlinks (I don't have any currently) the problem is that those newspapers are from Costa Rica and I'm targeting Spain as the main country.

It has some backlinks from some news sites from costa rica (I think the previous site was like about running stuff) and I'm focusing on aquatic sports, so... IDK if it's worth it.

My domain is brand new and doesn't have ANY backlinks.

Yeah, I already have my own domain with few blog posts on it. The previous owner seemed to be legit (like nothing shady was done in the site according to the backlinks, anchor texts, page records... etc)

DA10 is like any domain with 1 backlink. Nothing special.

You need to analyse the site quality, check the backlinks profile, anchor text, referring domain. This will help to get idea of the domain.
Site was about running stuff (it seemed that they sold some running races participations I think) backlinks are from some news sites, blogs and blogspots.

thought it would be better though as at least it has some ages (2009).
By the way according to moz it says that it has 20 DA.
