[COVID-19] India Under Complete LOCKDOWN For 21 Days

Our Prime Minister just announced a complete lockdown for the next 21 days till 15th of April to stop the spread of Coronavirus. All this chaos feels so unreal & horrifying like a bad dream.
But do you think this will stop the spread? I saw many people on news today breaking the lockdown and going on streets in large numbers. What are your thoughts fellow blackhatters?

Sadly you'll always get the brain dead morons who go out despite being told not to.

Upside is if they make it a legal requirement to stay indoors, the police have power to arrest and detain and if need be the military would be put on the streets.

Yes, that is true. People in Maharastra state were not following the lockdown so the state government turned it into a curfew giving local police power to arrest people if they break it.
At this time, these morons should be locked up in their house with military outside their doors.

There is a 24 hour curfew in Sri Lanka until further notice.
The government is working on delivering essential food/groceries to door.

I miss going to the gym and eating good food. Atleast I don't have corona (yet)

I think schools and universities should be shut down for like atleast 2 months.

IMO it should be a £300 or £3k fine and make it something that will deter idiots.

I think the low cases are due to not-so-strict medical checking & screening. Many people with symptoms are not even coming forward thinking that their prestige in the society will go down.
Sometimes, humans act so foolishly that I wonder how they even became a human being.

I wonder how foolish some people are. Many natives are also hiding their symptoms and acting as nothing has happened. Only if we had proper & strict medical systems to check people, the cases would have been huge in numbers.
