Help using Gmail SMTP in a rotation to send cold emails

Hi guys,

Have a huge list of scraped targeted emails for a few niches and want to cold mail these using gmail .

As far as I understand nothing comes close to the delivery rate of a good cold email using gmail opposed to other services or third party SMTP servers .

So I was thinking I would use a few gmail accounts in rotation by adding multiple smtp servers to my email software. I don't need to send my emails from a specific domain (can be directly from the original gmail account as sender) but I have a few doubts in my mind :

1) Would I need to add valid DKIM, SPF, Dmark etc considering I am aiming at sending around 20-50 emails per account each day ?

2) Do I need to use a different ip for each gmail account smtp ? Which means I would need to rotate ip along with smtp servers .

I guess basically what I'm trying to understand is if the same rules apply when using gmail smtp servers as with any other smtp provider ...

I am thinking that if I need to go over all the work and costs of having different ips etc then it would just be better to make some macros to send the emails directly from the gmail web interface and grab the details from a CSV file . I know there are some solutions out there like gmass, saleshandy, yamm etc but I find them to be too costly considering you are paying around $12 for each gmail account !

Anyone who can shed some light on the subject ?

Your just wasting your time with the method you just described. Yep google mails directly land in inbox but its hardly 1 or 2 max 5 mails after that your mails are instantly dropped and their system will pick similar content to block those aswell.
Survival chance:
1) you need 100 gmail accounts and spin content for every mail you send make sure your email content is spam free. you can hold upto 200 to 500 mails .

And you dont need any DKIM , SPF ETC., since your using gmail SMTP.

I was thinking about using 50 gmail accounts with spintext ofcourse ! My idea was to have a template that could spin around 50 different variations and send no more than 20-50 emails per day from each account, do you think it's sustainable this way ?

What about the ip addresses I am sending the emails from ? Would I need a separate ip address for each SMTP account or like 1 ip per every 2 or 3 accounts, or a rotating proxy ... Any clue about this ?

Or perhaps it's better to go another route and use a SMTP provider such as sendgrid ? Inbox rates would drop ridiculously I guess .

Use GMASS gmail app, You can send 2000 emails per month using gmail SMTP servers. You need a gsuite account for daily 2k limit

Without gsuite, you can send upto 500 daily emails.

Just use gmail/gsuite no smtp required. If your lists are clean and your message is not spammy and doesn’t get flagged frequently you’ll be able to mail 100’s a day no problem just start slooooowwww

Gmass is way too expensive for a single account, would be worth it if could merge multiple gmail accounts but that's not an option .

Furthermore, the 500 mails per day limit is totally unrealistic, like @xcodes already stated ! I doubt one would be able to even send 100 emails before getting blocked . The age and trust of the account also plays a role here but I'm pretty sure even if I used gmail accounts from 2018 that the emails would still get blocked easily by sending anything near these volumes !

There's plenty other mail merge apps besides gmass but I don't even know why they call it mail merging as all they really do is split your list in chunks and send them separately each day ... Don't need some crappy chrome extension to do that for me

So again, so far my best option is to stay low volume and use multiple gmail accounts with spintext . Ideally that would be from the web interface but as there's no app that will do that I can either use SMTP or make some advanced macros to rotate these gmail accounts in web browser .

Also, if you just send the emails directly to 100 contacts that is probably a big red flag, I assume you need to split the 100 mails through the day and try to emulate a normal human behavior as much as possible ...

My whole reply is based on what you said i really don't even need to read further what you do an how you setup things. You will find realistic once you started working on things.
trying is nothing wrong the more you try the more you learn.

Look into Amazon's email service. If I recall correctly you can receive 50k emails for free. You have to create your own email panel for it but there are guides online

Amazon's service is amazon SES and you would need to install Sendy

Thanks for the suggestion but amazon ses is one of the most strict email providers on the market and they will ban you for the smallest details . It's really not an option for cold emails ...

I’ve mailed with fresh accounts no problem just warm it up sending slowly initially and to personal emails that you open and reply yourself.

You should definitely use a sending program links MailShake or Streak to randomize delivery, send times and personalize. Always have an unsubscribe link and make it LARGE so people have a way out without flagging

@sunseven yea I've been testing past 2 days 5 accounts and so far rotating and sending 50 emails from each without any issues !

How many are you sending daily on a steady basis ?

The only thing I'm not doing is providing an unsubscribe link, I am trying to make it look like a personal email and also when I tested the delivery in 20gmail inboxes it would often land in promotions (or spam rarely) when it had the unsubscribe link in the body of the message, but 100% inbox rate once I removed it ...

Seems like unsubscribe link is kind of a red flag :O

Yeah I’ve gotten up over 500+ emails a day with solid lists and highly relevant messaging.

Yes that unsubscribe link is indeed an indicator but you can mask it by using a reply xxx to remove or use conversational verbiage for your unsubscribe link.
