What is the difference between EAV and RAV?

EAV = embedded ads views, that means your video will be embedded on other websites, those views are stable but with low retention since the audience are general and not targeted. those views will count watch-time.
RAV = real active views, those views are watch-page views (source is direct ads, means the viewer will be redirect to the video watch-page and intetact with video and ads), those views allow you to collect watch-time (with silent videos).

ok guys so im stuck here i have paid for RAV Views for 2 of videos to get them to reach 4000 watch time hours. and now i have reached that ammount on the videos and even on the youtube " About" tab for the channel.but its not showing on the youtube " Monotization" tab . i purchased them from Followbiz and Smmkings. here is a screenshot of what im talking about. any help would be greatly appricated it View attachment 129480 View attachment 129481

The 1 video didnt have sound but was legit OC content. Also I had like 15 other videos with sound on my channel. But yeah was approbed in 3 days.

Do you publish all the 15 other videos "public or unlisted them during monetisation application process?

Ofcourse I had them public, this video made my channel look legit, setting them on private would make zero sense.

First of all 15 is not a fixed value, could also be 7 or 10
Second of all they need to have atleast sooome views. Maybe 500-5000
Third and most important they must look like legit OC content that is monetize able in the first place

yes, if you plan to get max watch-time out of that video, if there is a sound, the average user will close the new page/tab very quickly as the RAV views based on real ads.

then this is bs, you can get monetized but you’ll never get into recommended again or even appear in the search results, so no extra audience = no money at all. Also afaik you’ll end up losing that monetization because you’ll be receiving your usual flow of views, forcing you to repeat the process in a never ending loophole

You still need good content after getting monetized or promote it on social media, but beside that a lot of people are doing blackhat things like uploading soccer matches, tv shows etc and these people need to get monetized first since the accounts get banned pretty fast.
Also your second sentence is partly true, since your videos dont get deleted your watchtime will always be above 4000h for a complete 12 months, after that your watchtime is gone and you need to proceed the process. But if you didnt succeed a whole year, dont bother with youtube and just quit.
