Yeah, i'm following this routine by a famous fitness Youtuber plus doing the 30 days baby shark abs challenge. I miss going to GYM though.
1) warn ups 2) burpees 3) push ups 4) lunges 5) squats 6) dips 7)stick to wall and go down in squat position do 3 - 5 sets
I also want to know if .. running is enough to remove that belly fat???nice routine I think more a beginner one would be (just my opinion)
1. Warm up.
2. Squat
3. Jumping Squat
4. Squat & Drop to press up
5. Press Up
6. Sit Up.
Back to 2 - 6
3 sets of 5.
@knopper if you want to start - at times like these you just need to keep active and consume a little less. Also important to work out a routine / time table as when stuck at home once you get used to sitting on that sofa it's over!

Along with running for straight 30 minutesSadly you can't just target belly fat! Running is no doubt one of the best cardio work outs there is, but you can't hit one zone like that to remove fat.
It all depends on how big you are and the size of your belly. If that's where you carry most of your load you will see some gains after a few weeks but then performance slows as well as weight loss and this tends to make people stop. This is where you need to vary what your doing and push through that wall. It happens around 3-6 week mark right at the time you start to enjoying what your doing and it becomes a habit and that's why it's so easy to break.
IF you want to try and target an area (I'm not saying this works) but your going to be better off trying to develop a muscle group in that area while trying to burn the weight.
Along with running for straight 30 minutes
I do 10 belly crunches.
And yes i am enjoying it .. simple reason is because i sweat and it makes me feel I am achieving something.. even if it is only sweat,
I used to do push ups against the counter/worktop in the kitchen when I had a bad back leaning in at it from a fair angle away they were quite good always give my chest a good working over.I kinda feel shitty now that I’ve successfully missed a gym session for 7 consecutive days. I’ve got the dumbbells but no barbells. I also don’t have a bench.
I got a bar where I can do some pull ups but anyone have an alternative for a bench press that doesn’t include stacking my weights into a backpack and then doing weighted push ups?
Ps. Here’s a niche for you. I’m in about 6000 different Facebook groups across a few niches and people are trying to push the “subscribe for an at home workout program” deal to a bunch of old people and it’s working out great for them. If someone here is doing this and I just revealed your stuff, I’m sorry.
I have a treadmill at home, so I do running like there's no tomorrow since the pandemic. After that, I do squats, lunges, mountain climber, and jumping jacks.
Update : I did this today and my body’s spent. Not sure if I was supposed to do all of it the same day but that’s how I did it.ah Ok off the top of my head..
Dumbbell Floor Press
Overhead Tricep Extension
Chest Flyes - on the floor start 2inches up off the ground or there about
Shoulder Dumbell press standing - legs shoulder width apart
Lateral Raises
Rows off a single dining chair - I used to love these before I had a bench it's simple and takes zero extra equipment!
Front raises
Shrugs
Curls
Squat / Single Step Squat / Walking Squat (any squat)
none of the above require a bench!
One we get the guys to do in the gym was squat on the floor or as low as you can go and hold that position. Hold 10kg dumb bells over your head and walk (while in squat) from one side of the room to the other. On the way back you hold your arms out to the side.
It was more of a punishment when people kept dropping arms or complained about being tired!
Update : I did this today and my body’s spent. Not sure if I was supposed to do all of it the same day but that’s how I did it.
Cheers once more.
Thanks my dude. Also any tips you can give me on increasing my push up count? Might as well do that since I can’t work on loading up my bench.LOL
No don't do it all in one go.
Pick a few work outs (read up on them and pick ones that are in similar muscle groups - most will be the same) so keep similar movements grouped.
Then pick out sets 2 x 10 or 3 x 5
Then the next day pick the next set it's the different range of movement will help keep your body guessing for the short term anyway..
