How to get lost .rar password

Can anybody help me how to recover my lost password for my .rar file?
I tried every basic move but still no effect :c
its a 58M mailing list i packaged some time ago
( if helped i can share the package to 1 user )

Google rar password cracker but be careful they probably have a virus. I would download a Linux script from github a quick search shows a few.

They will basically brute force the password, if it is a long password (8+ chara) it's probably not worth the effort it will use all your computers CPU/GPUs power to try to crack it.

The attack could be done based on a dictionary, instead of bruteforcing with everything possible. If your password happens to be in the dictionary, it gets cracked much sooner. Passwords are much more common than we think.

If your password is in English with proper spellings, then try the brute force method.

Else just forget about it. (just my personal opinion)

your only option is to bruteforce the password, however chances of success are small if the password is hard. would require a huge worldlist

I can see that the password starts with password because it starts extracting some folder but with no contents so im guessing the rest is numbers. Would that be possible to decrypt on python within 1 day on a 8 core 5 ghz processor?

im not much of a it guy so if some could hook me up to bruteforce (can't find it or its installed with python and im just dumb haha) and guide me how to do it. If sucessfull i will share the email list. It has lots of customers that will repucharse items/products

Bruteforcing takes loads of time and the success rate is quite lower.
