Google Update - Seeing Huge Changes

Under a national emergency, google is declared a utility. All the censors have been turned off already, Who knows what else has changed. Obviously its working out for many of us.

I actually have seen a big decrease in traffic, thought it was due to coronavirus at first because I mostly work with tourism sites, but then I thought to myself that people now are at home and spend way more time on the internet so I am not sure wether it is a Google Thing or Coronavirus.

That sucks, hopefully your sites pick back up soon, regardless of virus or update related.

Google is at it again. Been paying attention to this for the whole week. Crypto site are getting hit again.This might be just temporary with the latest Algo changes. But these are HUGE fucking swings.

Under this law the fed can take control of google. (thats why the censors are down censors are canary in a coal mine), But no one is talking about it. Anyway, No idea if this is what's going on but here you go

I can certainly see them being tweaked to remove fake coronavirus news or prioritise certain authorities. We know this is the case for the UK traffic.

If they internally declared it a utility the censors aren't legally allowed to function I think which is why they would have been disabled.

As of now, the site has dropped 58% since 2/7. But again, the hourly graphs shows what's going on. Rankings drop, rankings return, then drop, etc

ah, i got it just look at page 1. Home , sports , auto, outdoor, hmm. I think Should your home gain a lot traffic.

In adult i only noticed a big drop from India. Which is weird as usually they are last ones to tank. Everything else is the same but india tanked 20% ‍

Something i have been noticing especially with low comp. keywords is that new sites/posts are ranking better?! Like posts from a week ago or something like that are going straight to page 2 and even page 1. Has anyone seen this?

I tend to find this is true for new posts I create on super easy KW's, then they drop back and slowly work there way up. Google likes fresh content, especially if it covers the subject more fully.
