Review time again! Been using J's links for a few months now. The movement in rank after building these links is impressive. Every time. Here's a keyword from one of my personal sites. Highly competitive. Been stuck around position 50 or lower for quite a while now. At least a year or 2. Built 5 of the DR40+ links. Here are the results for said keyword

Review:

My order of 1x 500RD link was delivered 5 days ago.

The site the link was on wasn't niche relevant, and the article was only slightly relevant to my given keyword.

The 500RD(on the home page) is as advertised, but the backlink profile consists of domains that aren't authoritative or powerful, lots of it are bookmarking and free profile sites. The actual link URL itself has 4 backlinks from 2 domains ( according to my Siteprofiler tool by Mangools),

Both my Mangools tool and GSC have yet to pick up the link in my backlink profile(probably needs more time).

Overall since this is the first time I'm using any sort of niche edits, I'd say it's not all that it's hyped up to be.
I won't build any tier two links to the link, as it may result in the webmaster removing my link later on. I'm doubtful this will move the needle even if GSC picks it up.

Maybe I got unlucky with this seller, I don't know- but safe to say, I'm not going to use this again.

Edit - I found your link. It's on a general news website with 1,600+ RD (way over delivered), good traffic metrics, and your link was placed within an article that was highly relevant to your niche. Also, the page reindexed in Google on Saturday (3-15). Give GSC some time as there can be a lag with live links in their database.

And to answer your question as to why they are hyped, because they work..period. I have literally hundreds of clients and examples to show this. Sorry you didn't have a good experience. If ever need anything else, let me know.

Somewhat rambling review here


Order placed on Feb 10th for 5 X DR20-30 and 5x 100RD links. TAT was stated at around 3 weeks and the orders were delivered around on schedule on Mar 2nd and 5th. John has setup a nice little portal that shows you your orders, their status, and allows messages to be posted back and forth on each order’s page.


Link Placement: Fairly natural looking placement. A couple of the pages had additional links to other sites but most of the pages were kept to a small number of overall links (1 link to my site + ~1-3 links to other sites) which looks fairly natural to me.

Page Relevancy: The pages themselves were all generally quite relevant to my niche

Sites Relevancy: The sites tended to be somewhat more wider ranging in what they covered. They could be considered relevant but were also generally covering a broader range of topics than just my niches.

Site traffic: I ideally like to have links from sites that are getting some organic traffic themselves as this indicates to me that they aren’t just links farms but actually contain content that’s good enough quality to attract an audience. The sites I received ranged from low overall organic to ones that were getting ~1k/mo. Pretty good IMO.

DA of Sites: Checked via Moz. For the DR20-30 package my links were 22-29 DA. For the RD100 package my links were 23-38(3 of the 5 links were above 30DA). Was pleasantly surprised about the 30+ DAs

RD of Sites: This is a grey area for me. The link report states the RD’s for the links as being well beyond what was orered (195-877) however I am not able to independently verify the actual RD’s. I’ve tried using the free versions of AHREFS and Majestic however both fail to show the reported RD’s. Majestic (as of 3/23) still shows under 100 RD’s TOTAL to my site. What software (preferably free) are you guys using to validate number of RD’s?

Speed of indexing: I think 7/10 of the sites were already indexed and showed up in my GSC within days. A couple more showed up within a week. As of today (3/23) there is only 1 link that has yet to show up in GSC.

Comparison with other offerings: I do have a point of comparison from BHW now as shortly after I ordered the package from John, I ordered a package from one of the other stickied posts here (the one by Sarkar). Their packages do offer a larger volume of links from more diverse sources at lower prices however John’s links are of higher quality and do appear much more natural.

Impact on site/rankings: This is ultimately what it boils down to right? I had been working with an SEO company to do some onpage optimization and limited link building (avg of maybe 1-2 DR 20 links a month for the past ~6 months) prior to this so I could see the effect of link building over time. Since the marketing company was charging quite a bit for what they were offering, I figured going directly for the link building would be the key and expected this to have a noticeable effect on KW rankings or traffic or my site’s DA however as of 3/23 I have yet to see any significant changes. Perhaps it is too soon.

Will continue to check on the stats and maybe post a followup in a month’s time. Cheers.
