Hi guys,

I'm testing some stuff with adwords and I ran into an issue where I cannot get an ad I want approved.
What I've done so far:
1) I found an interesting website which was running google search campaign and I copied it manually (it is in html);
2) Bought a domain + dedicated hosting (namecheap) and launched the site; then I set up google ads campaign and got ad rejected for "Malicious or unwanted software." very quick.
3) Launched a new ad within the same ad group using domain of an original site for the destination url - ad approved.
4) Bought a new domain + namecheap shared hosting + set up cloudflare (original website is set up this way). This time I edited the ad that was already approved and changed destination to a newly set up url. Ad got approved at first, but when I checked it in few hours it was rejected again.
5) Now my 2 new domains gets rejected every time on few different accounts. But if I edit the ad and switch destination url to an original one, then ad gets approved no problem.

Could it be domain age or tld? I'm just choosing cheapest .xyz. I will test this soon.

Anyone with experience around similar issue? Would be great to hear some stories.

Urm I have it random in my experience, i just wiat then make a new ad then it goes up prob , but if 0% work for you then u have to do something else.

Hmm, I doubt this is a random thing, since I already tested this on 3 different accounts. Thanks for your input anyway.

Sometimes AD get "disapproved: Malicious or unwanted software", but next day i have get some clicks, check the ad, its get approve:smirk:

Did you try scanning the sites with a virus detection tool?
The way your server is set up might be causing this warning.

I get this when google detected cloaker that's why I switched to white hat campaigns.

You cannot use .XYZ in adwords they are not approved. You must have .com

That would be weird, however, this is not happening on my campaigns...

Thanks, interesting. I did a quick check, and I indeed notice 2 warnings on the copied sites, but not on the original ones.
"Missing security header for ClickJacking Protection. Alternatively, you can use Content-Security-Policy: frame-ancestors 'none'.
Missing security header to prevent Content Type sniffing."
I will see if I can et thee removed and if it has any effect.

No cloaker in my case...

I thought about this but was too busy to test this yesterday. Many thanks, I will def try today!

What I say only relates to my experience and not yours.

Lol so many random answers from people who have no idea :)

What @hulksta says.

If you don't have a cloaker, some other redirection

Have you got an iframe on your lander?
It happened to me too (both on .com and .xyz).
I don’t know how to solve.
Ads ran very week in the past and then out of the blue they have been banned for that reason.

tfw you insult others and you're wrong lol.
If they detect your cloaker, you will get a ban, or disapproval saying circumventing systems most of the time. Malicious software is not usually to do with cloaks or redirection. Can be a bad extension on wp that triggers this.
I have got this on 1 page htmls no redirection or cloaks. Now that the quality of site is higher there is no malicious software disapproval.

Did you find a solution? can you share? I do have same issues and can't find a way to avoid this.

wtf are you talking about !! a domain is a domain
OP what are you using to rip the website ? maybe consider using some software like winhttptrack (remove the lines the software insert automatically) and try again , had the same issue before and soon i switched the hosting provider it worked (it might be the namecheap IP is blacklisted)
