Hi, I recently started with an Amazon review website in Italian.
My question is: should the backlinks I create/purchase point to the mainpage or to each review pages?
The mainpage is useless and the keywords I want to rank are inside review pages.

Thanks for your help

The mainpage is useless and the keywords I want to rank are inside review pages.

1. The mainpage shall not be useless. Think out of the box and make it useful.
2. Most links should link to main page, 70 main 30 other pages. Building links to your main page is for reputation of the domain. Building links to the secondary pages, are just for the sake of reinforcing but generally generate "spammyness" in your site and lower reputation if you do this massively. So you have to try to balance.

What if his article keywords are on the main page.. And he build backlinks to a main page. Will this spread a link juice to the all keywords which are on the main page?

One think you must understand internal link building importance is same like a external backlinks.

You must do proper internal link building. So your link juice will be distributed perfectly with in your site.

If you have 50 inner page means I will go with 50% home page links and 1% link to each page.

If you want focus one or two page this ratio will be different like 33% home page, 33% important pages, 33% other inner pages.

This will be my prefer options.

So, If you've 50 Product reviews on the website. Do you prefer to have 1 link to each review?
What about the Homepage of the website if we split into the 50 inner pages/reviews?

Please clarify.

Thanks for clarifying. So, It means If I've 100 links to build to my money website. 50 links will go to my Homepage and the other 50 links will be built to the 50 inner pages i.e. 1 page for each link.
What kind of anchor text will you be using for the links?

@knopper Mixing of Generic, branded keywords, naked URL, LSI keywords will be the options as anchor text for the homepage.

You can use Target keywords as anchor text for the inner pages.

Still no answer to my question

OP, if you look at it closely the question has already been answered.

Okay, I've built an Amazon review site and adding a good amount of content. (started a month back)
Doing internal linking and built few links to my homepage using web 2.0 sites and only one link got indexed on Google as I didn't want to force index.

Most of the links will be Branded, Naked & Generic.

According to me, We should build a good amount of links to our website's Homepage as it passes link juice to internal pages if the onsite optimization is properly done.

I haven't noticed this post before.

I won't suggest you to dump all your keywords in homepage.

Need to do lot of factors like URL, title, meta description, content for ranking a particular keyword.

So it is not possible to gives important to all those keywords in one page.

Your point will work only if you targets one or two super easy keywords

You must select one topic for the homepage. Generally is a topic that should be linked regularly from inside other posts. From the homepage you can rank high. The main is generally served only as a bridge for other subpages, but it can be served like any other page. Like the most important page in the site. I would not spit everything there, but I may select the top topic of the site to go there.

Lets say I have sport page.

On the home page I have tennis, football, basketball, golf. That`s 4 topics right? What should I do?

Considering the fact that the topics are broad AF (sports), then the main shall contain "sports" as the keyword itself. For example "sports news" or "sports in xxxx" (city).
That may be a very complex keyword, but considering that is the home, you must put all the meat on the spit.
