Totally yay! But like anything, you need to choose very well the sites you're guest posting on. No pbn-looking "guest posts" no farm links, no irrelevant sites. Good, real and popular sites in your niche are the best. You'll get referral traffic too which is also a plus.

Sometimes Timofei is an idiot. Of course we are paying for guest post to get the link back. There is no other reason. We are not creating our personal brands, nor any other bullshit like that. We are getting links to rank higher. Referral traffic? Give me a break. Who the fuck even look for this? This videos somehow imply that the majority of the Ahrefs users are not black hat marketeers, but random bloggers or marketing gurus. Big meh.

Do not get me wrong - there are very good videos and blog posts from Ahrefs and (how to do keyword research, Ahrefs tips and tricks, automation etc) and I am big fan of the tool, however sometimes like in this particular case its simply nonsense.
