I am seeing someone building crappy PBN links to my site, but they are not using negative anchor text like gambling, porn or anything like that also they are not using exact match anchor text, they are using the variations of topical keywords in my niche mostly one or two words phrases.

Interesting thing is that they are also linking some of my competitors from those PBN posts as well meaning every post have 3/5 links of my competitors along with my link, I have tried to find out if they are using same batch of my competitors sites to do negative SEO but I did not find any pattern it seems they are picking up random sites in the same niche.

I have found these links 3/4 days ago through my WordPress dashboard thanks to pingback. Google search console or ahrefs did not picked up these links yet.

I am little worried about these links , should disavow or just ignore it? Any suggestion will help.

Thanks

just ignore it at this time, and if they are bad google will disavow them automatically, at least talking for my case they did disavow 30 bad links automatically without doing anything from my part, if you see those links getting a bad impact on your SERP ranking then you can disavow by yourself, but at this moment don(t do anything give it some time

Thanks for your insight. Did you see 30 bad links of your site disappeared from search console? How do you know google disavowed those links automatically? As far as I know search console do not remove links even if you disavow them manually, Just curious.

I check my GSC every single day, and i follow all links on my sheets what lost and what link gain even my regular site links so i can see i my link indexed and if those same posts links deindexed, and i'm pretty sure they removed those links from GSC as i kept following the same exact domain name and their links So, ...

If they're crappy PBN links, What's stopping you to disavow them.

I have had bad experiences with disavow for my another site, that's why I am not comfortable about that thing.

I'd just ignore them for now.
People come up with weird ideas on their PBNs, he might link out to a few competitors to hide his own links.
If you really see a negative impact and can somehow relate it to those links, e.g. the specific pages linked out to dropping, then disavow them.

I would absolutely disavow any links coming from PBN's I didn't create myself, or purchase links on. It's very easy to create negative SEO PBN's that look okay on surface but will clearly do a lot of negative SEO on your site. Use the disavow tool, it's improved a lot over the past 12 months.

Thanks for you input. I think I will wait few weeks, it's premature to take such action.

I agree.

Disavow them, you'll get hit sooner or later.

Any tests made that shows that negative seo is still possible ?
