I did move on and BassTrackerBoats offered me legitimate help that will be very useful for what I want to accomplish here.

I wasn't side swiping him, he is talking about inside information that I don't know about which is why I was confused.

Mods have to deal with tons of scammers so I understand why they are so hesitant to believe us.

Promoting a product or service before opening a thread is forbidden here. That could be the reason you were given warning. You can't promote any products even if your intention behind it is good. Even if you give it away, you can't put too many conditions. These rules are working fine for several years and the mods just follow them.

I'm starting to understand now and I see how people talk with disclaimers like "this is mine but" etc to help them see it's not a spam attempt.

I've been in forums where mods ban 300-400 people each day for no reason and don't respond after that. BHW has good moderation and they actually explain us the reasons for warning if we ask. This is the reason most people stick to this forum for years. I too got warnings when I was answering the questions of another member to help him. You should be careful for a few days to avoid these issues.

Thanks I will take your advice. Not only do I need to be careful but I need to apply all of the amazing things I'm learning here. Seriously it's energizing! You are right I have a fair explanation now and I hope others learn from the mistake I made. Sometimes you think you know everything and it can be hard to assimilate into a new group. Everyone here seems very eager to help others and we have to enter everything with a good strategy and not rush things!

No I didn't try to sell anything. I would create a sales thread if I was trying to sell. The same way I've made hundreds of thousands of dollars online before. Not try sneak some sale to one person in DM. You're free to believe whatever you want though. I see you have more posts so you must be more trustworthy. Oh and a mod badge too.
