Delete content on main domain and moving it to new one..

Yo! Was just wondering if anyone that got hit by the update back on dec 17th tried building a new website and moving the content there? I am thinking of doing this since I am not being able to index any of the posts... Only the mainpage is indexed in google rn.

This is the only option I guess as ive tried everything to get it recovered.. Without success.

I’m not sure of this but indexation has been an issue lately on google, many users have discussed this but so far no conclusion or solution has come regarding this

I thought it was fixed? Mine are getting indexed normally.

I think moving content is never considered original once it gets spidered once. It'll detect previously used content, unless you did 301 and move the domain on search console.

If you want to move an indexed article from Medium to your site, and reap the SEO benefits of that article properly on your site, how would you do that?

I`m not sure how you guys can`t index money site pages, just build some high-quality links and submit your site to Search Console and will index. If I can index generated pages with 80% the same content, definitely you can as well.

Not on one of my sites it wasn't. Been like this for the past 3 months though I am still earning from the site itself because of parasites... so I won't be 301 it anywhere and will just leave as is.

It was indexed before but after the update... not possible to index anymore and the site was on top 1-3 results for most of the pages but now only main url is indexed. No matter what I do it won't get indexed hence why I want to try this.

I recall the discussion about it.

The fix seems to be if you are able to generate some "noise" towards your new pages, they get indexed. Social media for instance.

If i were to move content from one website to another, i would probably copy the articles on the new domain then add the rel=Canonical on the old one to show google what content you set as original.. It’s a lot better to avoid duplicate content penalty..
