1 Website with articles in 2 Languages. Will I have problems?

I have articles in eng-us and pt-br at the same website. It's possible that google will penalyze me for some reason? Have any of you done the same thing and had problems?

But the thing is how you structure your site and how you present it. Also no problem when you simply translate it by Google Translator. From my experience its not counted as duplicate content, when its on the same website. Only when you copy an article from a whole different website and auto translate it to your website they might figure out its duplicate content.
