I have articles in eng-us and pt-br at the same website. It's possible that google will penalyze me for some reason? Have any of you done the same thing and had problems?

Not at all, I have a website in Spanish and English, and it works very nicely. Of course, you want to make very clear what is what, via top level menu system, tags or categories etc.

No, You won't be penalized for making your site multi lingual....

Why would you be penalized for that? Also, you could go sub domain way if you are really concerned. I do think that it's pretty logical what you are doing, and it's a common practice too.

Many sites are in several languages. Spanish and English are the majority and google ranks both indexing articles in both languages to be ready when users search queries. to avoid confusion you can start your blog with a subdomain.

Yes, you can have single website with two languages. Its pretty normal practice where everyone does so your website will not be harmed for this. But the thing is how you structure your site and how you present it. Starting from title, keyword, content and organized URL which helps search engine better understand for what language users are searching for.

You should not encounter problem for such. There are a lot of sites offering contents with multiple languages.

No problem.

Also no problem when you simply translate it by Google Translator. From my experience its not counted as duplicate content, when its on the same website. Only when you copy an article from a whole different website and auto translate it to your website they might figure out its duplicate content.

Nothing problem will be happen... if you didn't copy the articles nothing will be happened.. it is a usual thing.. so it will not be penalized... no worries

Google treat and rank each page on your website separately, so you're good to go because each page is on its own.

No it will not be penalized. It will give more exposure to site if it presented in good form.

There is no problem with it, you will not be penalized.

It will not give you any problems. and if you have multi language then you got many visitors from around the world. For revenue It’s best!

there will be no problems, I have a website in 3 languages and everything is fine
